AssureSeal Notary Services serves the southeast Michigan area, providing mobile signing agent services and mobile general notarization for a vast array of documents, including affidavits and contracts and numerous others. We also offer a courier service for important documents needing to go to courts, government offices, and business locations. We are known for being professional, prompt, reliable, and discreet with quick turnaround times and exceptional client care. We are a commissioned notary public located in Macomb County, MI, a certified notary signing agent, bonded, E&O insured, and in addition to all of this, we are mobile so we come to you!

INFORMATION YOU WILL NEED

State law requires all signers to present a valid, government-issued photo ID prior to the start of any notarization. Acceptable forms of identification include a current driver’s license, passport, or other state or federally issued photo ID. The notary is legally obligated to verify the identity of the signer against their photo ID. If the signer is unable to present a valid ID, or if the ID is illegible, expired, or otherwise insufficient for verification, the notarization will not proceed. No exceptions can be made to this policy in accordance with Michigan notarial laws.
Please have all documents requiring notarization with you prior to your appointment. Ensure each document is complete and ready to be signed, as notaries are only authorized to witness signatures and cannot prepare, complete, or alter documents in any way. Per state law, notaries are prohibited from offering legal advice or assisting with document preparation. Incomplete or improperly prepared documents may result in a delay or cancellation of the notarization.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Identify the document signer against their government-issued photo ID
Ensure the signer is mentally aware and signing willingly, without coercion or pressure, and fully understands the contents of the document being notarized
Administer the required oath or affirmation, or take the signer’s acknowledgment, in accordance with notarial law and procedure
Complete the notarial certificate
Complete the notarial journal which includes details about the notarization appointment as well as completing signatures and acquiring the signer's thumbprint

MOBILE SERVICES

We provide our notarial services to individuals and businesses where it is most convenient for them including airports, assisted living communities, hospitals, nursing homes, physicians, office buildings, residential properties, or any other mutually convenient location

FEES & PAYMENT

Notarial acts are charged at $10.00 per notarized signature, in accordance with Michigan law. A travel fee will apply based on the location of the appointment. Additional charges may apply for services such as after-hours appointments, document printing, or courier requests.

Please note: All notarial fees (excluding travel and optional services) are set by the State of Michigan. All fees will be clearly disclosed and finalized prior to your appointment, and payment in full is required before any notarization services are performed.
